Ashraf Arif stands as a prominent figure in the real estate arena, commencing his journey with a degree in computer science from Dalhousie University and a diploma in Engineering from St. Francis Xavier University. Founding Synercapital Real Estate Services Inc. and Synercapital Asset Management Inc., Ashraf has been an active force in real estate since 2001.

From the outset, Ashraf's fervent passion for real estate propelled him into property management and commercial transactions. His hands-on approach and unwavering dedication saw him not only managing his own investment properties but also steering portfolios for other investors. Over the years, Ashraf has amassed a substantial real estate portfolio, guiding investors towards achieving their goals with his expertise and confident character.

Today, Ashraf remains dedicated to real estate acquisition through personal ventures and syndication. With over two decades of experience under his belt, he has acquired and syndicated over 150,000 sq. ft. of commercial space, including plazas and office spaces, and over 1000 residential units in multi-family apartment buildings across Ontario. Ashraf continues to spearhead growth in the real estate industry with his unwavering determination and commitment to excellence.

Ammar Al Halabi

Introducing our Controller Ammar Al Halabi, a seasoned financial expert who has been a valued member of Synercapital Asset Management. With over three decades of experience in accounting and financial management, along with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a background in Real Estate Accounting, he brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. His responsibilities encompass overseeing day-to-day financial activities, strategizing company budgeting, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Proficient in both producing and analyzing financial statements, he is dedicated to maintaining the financial health and stability of our organization.

Lilin Wang

Introducing our Accounting Payable Clerk Lilin Wang. With a wealth of experience in managing transactions with international companies, she brings a unique perspective to our finance team. Her primary responsibilities include posting business transactions, processing invoices, and meticulously verifying financial data to uphold accurate accounts payable records. Additionally, she provides crucial clerical support to meet the organization's financial obligations. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, she maintains comprehensive records of outstanding payables and ensures the accuracy of financial documents for payment, auditing, and tax purposes.

Adriana is a skilled Account Receivable Clerk at Synercapital Asset Management since October 2022. With a strong focus on financial precision, she manages accounts receivable transactions and ensures seamless tenant payment processing. Adriana's dedication extends to her impressive educational background, boasting an Accounting & Payroll Diploma earned in June 2022. Her expertise blends hands-on experience with formal education, making her an asset in the world of finance and accounting.

Noor Silwadi

Executive Administrative Assistant

In her current role as the Executive Administrative Assistant, Noor brings her versatile skills to Synercapital, contributing significantly to the organization's success. With an academic background in English Literature and previous teaching experience, she started her journey at Synercapital as a property administrator. In this role, she demonstrated exceptional abilities in engaging directly with tenants, effectively addressing maintenance issues, and coordinating with maintenance staff and vendors.

Recognizing her capabilities and dedication, Noor advanced to her current position, where she proficiently manages schedules, orchestrates appointments, and handles vital administrative duties for the company President. Additionally, she excels in her roles as office manager and IT coordinator, readily assisting colleagues whenever the need arises. Noor's commitment to excellence and her multifaceted skill set make her an invaluable asset to the Synercapital team.

Olha Venhrynska

Project & Marketing Coordinator

Olha is our Project & Marketing Coordinator, who recently joined our team. With a solid foundation in customer service and a Master's degree in ESL, she brings a distinct perspective to her role. Olha excels in maintaining exceptional tenant relations, handling leasing duties, and cultivating positive tenant experiences, all of which contribute to our success in maintaining low vacancy rates across our properties.

In addition, Olha plays a pivotal role in creating marketing materials for our real estate team and performs administrative tasks to ensure each property is effectively marketed. Her diverse skills, dedication, and creativity elevate our marketing efforts, contributing to the overall success of our Real Estate Team.

Holly Brier

Leasing Manager, Training & Policy Writer

Meet Holly, our Leasing Manager at Synercapital, as well as our Synercapital Training Officer and Policy Writer. Holly is responsible for overseeing the operation of our Student Residences Portfolio located in Lindsay, Pembroke, and Ottawa, as well as managing the residential leasing for our apartment rentals across our entire portfolio.

Before joining Synercapital, Holly served as the Assistant to the Marketing Director at Alavida Lifestyles Senior Suites & Retirement Residence, where she managed all leases for their 264-suite facility. Prior to that, she gained valuable experience working as an Assistant to the Director of Marketing and other directors at Bell Canada for 10 years. Her previous roles bring invaluable assets to our leasing activities at Synercapital.

Holly holds a degree in Business Management from Algonquin College in Ottawa.

On a personal note, Holly is a leader and spokesperson in Women’s Ministries and actively teaches in the Children’s Program at her church. Her dedication extends beyond her professional endeavors, making her an invaluable asset to both our team and our community.

Amber Miller

Site Manager

Meet our Pembroke Property Manager Amber Miller, an indispensable member of our team. Her journey began at Algonquin College, where she graduated with honors in Office Administration Executive (2012) and Geriatric Health Services (2015). Following two years in the retail sector, she transitioned into her current role.

As the Pembroke Site Manager, she oversees the day-to-day operations of all our residential and commercial properties in the area. Her unwavering dedication ensures the smooth functioning of our properties, providing residents with seamless experiences.

Jordyn Gould

Property Administrator

Meet Jordyn Gould, the newest addition to our team at Synercapital, serving as our Property Administrator. With over 6 years of experience in both the financial and customer service sectors, Jordyn brings a wealth of expertise to our organization. In her role, she is responsible for managing all administrative tasks and overseeing leasing activities at our Pembroke site.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Jordyn is a passionate photographer, using her creativity to capture cherished moments in her spare time. We are delighted to welcome Jordyn aboard and are excited to see how her diverse skills and talents will enhance our property management efforts.

Sarah Kirwan moved to Ottawa in 2001 to pursue her undergraduate degree at Carleton University. In 2010, she purchased a duplex to owner-occupy and quickly realized that proper management, intelligent improvements, and calculated use of financing yield excellent growth on the road to financial independence.

As Property Administrator for Synercapital Investment Realty and Asset Management, Sarah oversaw hundreds of residential apartment units and learned the ins and outs of residential property management. She also aided in the analysis of apartment buildings for purchase and sale, under the real estate brokerage arm of the business, where she has been registered as a Real Estate Broker since 2014.

Sarah, now a proud owner of 21 residential apartment units and counting, shares her insightful business plan and unique expertise with a loyal and ever-growing base of clients and colleagues. Outside of work, Sarah can be found on the yoga mat, urban gardening, playing softball or at a local, live music venue.

Formerly the Broker of Record, Kwesi's reputation speaks volumes. He's been a driving force behind $150M+ in Commercial and Investment Real Estate transactions. His clientele spans private and family business buyers, investor syndication groups, large land developers, and institutional investors.
